A list of the most worthwhile media I stumbled upon. This list is work in progress, sporadically updated and deliberately kept short and punchy and on topic with this site – otherwise it would include dozens of recommendations.

The Art of Impossible & Gnar Country – Steven Kotler

Two books here. If you’re no theory hog, pick Gnar Country. It’s giving you a first person account of how to „Grow with the flow“ or teach old dogs (Steven in case of the book) new tricks. Reading this inspired quite a surprising growth in parkour skill this year, but is applicable in many more fields. Forever grateful for that. It’s providing you a framework for flow and mastery. … Speaking of which …

Mastery – George Leonard

The fundamentals of mastery – and the very first self-help book I ever purchased. If you pick one book in this section, might as well be this one. Compact and with a punch.

The Art of Mastery – Peter Ralston

If you’re openminded, and have a mind for inquiry, abstraction and love insight, give it a go. Loads to absorb … I’m just starting.

The Big Picture, World & Life

Daniel Schmachtenberger

Karl Hosang

A great load of articles on topics like psychology, coaching, creativity, innovation, communication, personal development, organisational development, group dynamics, school. A one of a kind place – inform me if you find otherwise 😉
